What we collect

When you join the waitlist: your email address and the alert you set up (topics, keywords, languages, owners, licences, thresholds and frequency). When you ask about sponsoring: your email and the project link or note you write. Nothing else is collected through these forms, and this site sets no tracking cookies.

Why

To email you when RepoAlerts launches and then send only the alerts you asked for, or to answer your sponsor inquiry. We rely on your consent, given when you submit the form. We never sell your data or share it with advertisers. Sponsors never receive subscriber emails.

Where it is stored

In a database hosted by Supabase (United States, East) and served through Vercel. Both act as our processors under standard contractual clauses.

How long

Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Sponsor inquiries are deleted 12 months after the last reply.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, delete it or withdraw your consent at any time. Every email we send has a one-click unsubscribe. Until our mailbox is live, send requests by direct message to @repoalerts on X. If you are in Spain you can also complain to the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (aepd.es).
